Can I still apply for admission to York University?

York’s admissions team continues to accept and process applications and make offers of admission for Fall (September) 2020. We understand that some students require additional flexibility to meet deadlines as a result of disruptions to schooling or exams due to COVID-19. York is committed to working with any students who may need extra time in order to complete their application.

We are also accepting applications for admission for Winter (January) 2021. Dates for applying for Fall (September) 2021 admission will be published in the fall.

Can online courses taken in high-school or at other post-secondary institutions still be considered for transfer credit?

Yes. Any high-school or post-secondary courses that were eligible for transfer credit before classes moved online due to COVID-19 will continue to be eligible and assessed for transfer credit.
